        Description:
        Search functionality in V12 Notes Client provides following features. As soon as you start typing in the search center, you will get type-ahead options People and subject.



        'Search this View' helps users to find the information or document quickly when the database is indexed. People are chosen automatically, based on the people with whom you recently emailed, chatted, or had meetings scheduled which is similar to your Recent Contacts.

        Can this new search feature be disabled and use the search center prior to Notes Client V12 ?

        To disable 'Search Center', you can change Current Notes 11 theme to Notes 9 theme under File - Preferences - 'Font, Color and Themes' Option.

        Also, to disable the new improvement specific to 'Search this view', you can add below notes.ini parameter.
        ShowSearchThisViewTypeahead=0

        This ini disables the advanced search feature for search this view. There is no impact on 'Search Center' using this ini.
