    Description:
    Domino 5.0.3 and later, however, contain functionality that allows web authentication requests to be appended with additional information required by the Active Directory for a valid return.

    To enable this functionality, add the following parameter to the Domino server's NOTES.INI, and restart the Domino server:

    WEBAUTH_AD_GROUP=1

    The above NOTES.INI parameter allows the Domino server to perform group web authentications via Active Directory LDAP, in addition to all other LDAP servers.

    The parameter WEBAUTH_AD_GROUP=1 offers no other additional features or improvements.

    Valid values are

    0 = disables ActiveDir - authentication
    1 = enables ActiveDir - authentication

    This NOTES.INI variable has been made obsolete in ND7. Functionality enabled by the Active Directory search filter option, which allowes for searches of Active Directory groups.
