      Description:
      The SMTPLookupNoDircat setting can prevent the SMTP task from uses Directory Catalog lookups. A value of 1 will prevent users listed in the Directory Catalog from receiving inbound Internet mail on this server.

      The default value of 0 enables the Router to use any of the Extended Directory Catalogs referenced in its configuration. If you set this variable to 1, the Router cannot use any of the Extended Directory Catalogs referenced in its configuration when doing a look-up for inbound Internet mail. Instead, the Router will return a DFR (Delivery Failure Report).

      This setting only pertains to servers configured to use a Condensed Directory Catalog (CDC).

      This Determines if SMTP used directory catalog lookups. It May help improve performance.

      Note: Only applies to servers configured to use a condensed directory catalog.

      Recommendation:

      Set SMTPLookupNoDircat=1 so SMTP will not do directory catalog look-ups. This can improve SMTP performance and reduce unwanted SPAM e-mail.

      Restrictions:

      Added in 5.0.12. Broken in 6.0, fixed in 6.01.

      DCT will generate an informational report when this option is disabled.
